Manta and Diver Playa Flamingo is a veritable diver’s paradise with some of the finest diving in the world. Besides large schools of tropical fish, the plankton and nutrient rich Pacific Ocean also attracts large sea creatures such as Giant Manta Rays, schooling Cow Nose Rays, Humpback Whales, Pilot Whales, Dolphins and Sea Turtles. An abundance of premier dive sites, such as the Catalina Islands, are easily accessible from Playa Flamingo.

Marina A 20 minute boat ride from the marina gives both the new and the experienced diver access to over thirty exciting dive sites created by volcanic rock formations and rock pinnacles. Average visibility ranges from 30 to 80 feet with temperatures at depth from 75 to 80 degrees. The marina at Playa Flamingo is a major convenience to divers who avoid wading into the surf for a shuttle ride to the dive boat.
